Alain Gueneau

Craftsman - Stone and Tile Installer

Alain Gueneau is a seasoned craftsman with over 30 years of laying tile, carpet, stone, laminates, wood flooring, vinyl, leather, and many other materials.

He does exquisite work and enjoys the challenges every job brings in. At Buckeye, Alain installed the travertine and glass tiles in the master bathroom and completed the stonework in the other bathrooms along with the kitchen floor and backsplash, ably assisted by Jerome Potts.

He also installed much of the Cumaru decking with Chris DuCharme and additionally helped with some general carpentry tasks.

Thanks to Alain, the master bath is the space that perhaps, has received the greatest media attention. Publishers and reporters love the master bath, for instance, Signature Kitchens and Baths magazine says: “Three different finishes adorn the travertine floor. The vertical surfaces feature polished surfaces, the floors and stair treads have a rustic finish, and small pieces of tumbled stone compose the shower floor.”

Alain originally came from France, and when not working in construction he spends his time running a small horse ranch near town.
