Kitchen - From Pantries.
The Kitchen looks out to the Living Room
Entertainment Center and the Hill Country. It was designed to efficiently
flow through the cooking process, from storage to preparation to cooking,
serving and clean-up. The pantries are located behind this shot. The refrigerator
can be seen to the right, next to the preparation area. Cooking takes
place across the "prep area". The oven, the microwave, warming
drawer, 4 burner gas range with griddle and grill are also located along
that area. Adjacent, and at the Kitchen's entrance, can be found serving
and clean-up stations with sink, dishwasher, trash compactor and recycle.
There is adequate and appropriate storage space at each station depending
on the task at hand. All lower cabinets, other than sink cabinets, have
easy access drawers. The counter provides enough space and elbow room
for multiple cooks.
